Mireya Hernandez: Cram With CAB Event

Hi everyone!

How are midterms going?? Hope you’re all hanging in there! If you missed it, on Monday, the Campus Activities Board (CAB) hosted an awesome event to help students recharge and get ready for exams. They had tons of free food, including Crumbl cookies, pizza, and energy drinks, which were a lifesaver for those of us needing an extra boost. There was also a fun raffle, where students could enter to win a prize just by completing a quick survey.

One of the highlights for me was the rolled-up ice cream stand—it was so cool to watch them make it fresh right in front of you! Plus, there was a coffee station, perfect for those of us who need that caffeine kick to power through study sessions. The whole event was a great way to take a break, de-stress, and enjoy some delicious treats while also getting prepped for midterms.

As a student here, I really appreciate when CAB puts together events like this. It’s nice to take a moment away from the stress of exams, connect with other students, and just enjoy the campus atmosphere. It helped me feel more energized and motivated to tackle my study plans.

I can’t wait to see what other events they have in store for us next! Wishing everyone the best of luck on their midterms!

Until the next post!
