Hawaii Pacific University’s Department of English & Applied Linguistics gathered with guest speakers from Bamboo Ridge on Nov. 8.
Authors featured in the newly published book, “Snaring New Suns,” gathered Tuesday for a reading.
The book features short stories and poems written by local writers in Hawaii.
After the event, guests enjoyed delicious chocolate pumpkin mochi with students and faculty.
