Hawaii Pacific University offers new career preparation program

Hawaii Pacific University’s Career Development Center and the College of Business will host HPU Connect, a free workshop program open for all HPU students.

HPU Connect will help students with job preparation, career opportunities, and preparing for post graduation employment. 

Dean Rosenbaum created HPU Connect to help aspiring students prepare for employment and the big career fair on March 1.  

The career fair is open to all students, providing the opportunity to connect with recruiters and major employers to secure a career, internship, or part-time job.

The job fair will be held at Aloha Tower Marketplace on March 1. From 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. In the Center Atrium

Workshops will help students learn how to create cover letters/ resumes, maximize online presence, learn how to succeed during interviews, and dress for success.

  • Wednesday, Feb. 22.

Workshop session times

  • 9:00 am – 10:00 am (Morning Session)
  • 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Afternoon Session)

*Please fill out this form to register for the workshop series. Note: each session is offered twice, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. It is NOT necessary to attend both sessions offered on the same day as they will cover the same topics within the series.
