Undergraduate students interested in attending Hawaii Pacific University this fall are invited to an open house tomorrow at Aloha Tower Marketplace.
Get more information about HPU’s academic programs, get to know staff and current students, find out about extracurricular activities and explore the campus.
The program will repeat again on April 15.
Shark Preview Day starts with check-in and pre-event activities from 7 to 8 a.m. at Aloha Tower Marketplace, with free validated parking available at Pier 5 and Pier 6.
If you check in early, there will be a complimentary breakfast, and dorm tours of The Waterfront Lofts at Aloha Tower. Staff members will be available to answer questions and offer help with financial aid as well.
Students interested in learning more about HPU’s Oceanic Institute in Waimanalo or the Hawaii Loa Campus will be able to visit each site during Shark Day. Limited free transportation is available, with shuttles departing Aloha Tower at 1 p.m. and returning around 5 p.m.
Here is the full schedule for tomorrow’s event:
- 7 to 8 a.m. – Check-in and pre-event activities
- 8 a.m. – Welcome
- 8 a.m. to noon – Breakout Sessions: Mock classrooms, student life and student support, next steps for newly accepted students
- Noon to 1 p.m. – Lunch with HPU deans and faculty
- 1 to 2 p.m. – Optional breakout sessions
- 1 to 5 p.m. – Campus Tours
